Cornell Systems Engineering will hold a Cornell Systems Summit from November 1-3, 2026 on the Ithaca, NY campus. This year’s theme, “Systems Engineering and AI: Frontiers in Research, Education, and Workforce Development” will frame conversations on the opportunities and challenges AI presents for systems engineering, education and the future workforce. The Cornell Systems Summit will bring together representatives from academia, industry and government to focus on core systems engineering topics, including health systems, semiconductor, manufacturing, and industrial (SEMI) systems, as well as energy systems, with the intention of advancing the direction of global systems challenges in education, workforce development and research and development.
