Bio: Gabriel G. RodrÃÂguez-Calero, Ph.D. ’14 is CEO & co-Founder of Ecolectro, Inc., a specialty chemicals company that makes polymers to dramatically reduce the cost of renewable energy technologies. As part of Ecolectro he has secured ca. $1.8M in funding from a combination of grants, revenue and investment. He has led all business development and fundraising efforts since Ecolectro’s incorporation. He was also a post-doctoral researcher for both Héctor D. Abruña and Geoffrey W. Coates at Cornell University.
RodrÃÂguez-Calero received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in analytical chemistry and materials chemistry where he studied under Abruña. He has worked in the areas of materials for renewable and clean energy technologies for 10 years. He has 18 peer-reviewed articles and two patent applications.
