  • Siddhartha Banerjee

    Banerjee, associate professor, received an Expanded SPROUT Award from Cornell  Duffield Engineering.

  • Peter Frazier

    Frazier, Eleanor and Howard Morgan Professor of Engineering, won the INFORMS Journal on Computing Test-of-Time award for his 2009 paper “The Knowledge-Gradient Policy for Correlated Normal Beliefs,” co-authored with Warren Powell and Savas Dayanik.

  • Kyra Gan

    Gan, assistant professor, received an NVIDIA Academic Grant Program Award.

  • David Goldberg

    Goldberg, associate professor, was awarded a grant by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to fund his project “Hospital Decision-Making Tool.”

  • Ben Grimmer

    Grimmer, Ph.D. graduate, won the INFORMS Young Researchers Prize.

  • Marouane Ibn Brahim

    Ibn Brahim, Ph.D. student, was selected for the 2025 INFORMS George Nicholson Prize for his paper “Maximum Load Assortment Optimization: Approximation Algorithms and Adaptivity Gaps.”

  • Jessica Rush Leeker

    Leeker, professor of practice, won an honorable mention from the Center for Teaching Innovation for the 2025-26 Creative Teaching Awards.

  • Jiachang Liu

    Liu, assistant research professor, and professors Soroosh Shafiee and Andrea Lodi were awarded the 2025 INFORMS Quality Statistics and Reliability Best Refereed Paper Award for their work “Scalable First-Order Method for Certifying Optimal k-Sparse GLMs.”

  • Zhi Liu

    Liu, Ph.D. student, is one of the four finalists for this year’s INFORMS George Dantzig Dissertation Award.

  • Andrea Lodi

    Lodi, the Andrew H. and Ann R. Tisch Professor, has been named Editor in Chief of the INFORMS Journal on Computing.

  • Bill Maxwell

    Maxwell , professor emeritus, was inducted into Philadelphia’s Central High School Hall of Fame in October, 2025.

  • Jamol Pender

    Pender, associate professor, has been awarded the 2026-2027 Claytor-Gilmer Fellowship by the American Mathematical Society (AMS).

  • James Renegar

    Renegar has retired and is now the Class of 1912 Professor of Engineering emeritus.

  • Patricia Richard

    Richard, custodian in Rhodes Hall, won an EPICC Award from Cornell Duffield Engineering for her “exceptional care and professionalism.” The commendation noted her “dedication to maintaining welcoming and functional spaces demonstrates how every role contributes to the college’s shared success.”

  • Frans Schalekamp

    Schalekamp, senior lecturer, won the Ralph S. Watts ’72 Teaching Award from Cornell Duffield Engineering.

  • Ziv Scully

    Scully, assistant professor, won the Sonny Yau ’72 Teaching Award from Cornell Duffield Engineering.

  • Eva Tardos

    Tardos, Jacob Gould Shurman Professor, received an Expanded SPROUT Award from Cornell Duffield Engineering.
