Research Interests
Rui-Lin Cheng’s research work encompasses geological sciences, biogeosciences, and planetary sciences. She investigates water-rock interactions and interplays between geological processes and biological activities archived in terrestrial geological records and across the Solar System. Her integrative approach combines orbital remote sensing, microscale analytical characterization, and experimental simulations.
