Cornell ECE Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Research Award
The award recognizes outstanding achievement and academic excellence in doctoral thesis work. This prestigious honor is awarded annually to Ph.D. students whose thesis work demonstrates exceptional originality, rigorous methodology, and a significant contribution to their field of study.
In addition to a cash prize, award winners have their names engraved on a plaque outside the Director’s office.

Cornell ECE Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award
This award recognizes excellence in teaching and mentorship. This award is presented annually to M.S./Ph.D. students who, during their duties as Teaching Assistants, demonstrate a remarkable dedication to teaching and student learning, a genuine passion for fostering academic growth, and whose commitment to teaching leaves a lasting impact on the students they mentor.
