The Cornell BME M.Eng. Project Showcase brings together industry leaders, clinicians, entrepreneurs, alumni, faculty, and students to explore emerging medical technologies and engage with the next generation of biomedical engineers. Throughout the day, our graduate design engineers will present innovative solutions address.

  • MEng students talk with industry professionals standing at lab benches at Industry Day 2025 in Tang Hall design lab.

  • The projects presented during the showcase emerge from an immersive design process that integrates engineering, clinical insight, and strategic considerations across the medical technology lifecycle. Students explore real-world healthcare challenges, analyze clinical and market contexts, generate and evaluate solution concepts, develop engineering prototypes, and conduct testing to assess feasibility and performance.

  • The event provides an excellent opportunity to engage with highly talented graduate engineers who are preparing to enter careers across the medical technology ecosystem, including medical devices, digital health, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with peers from industry and academia while exploring potential collaborations, partnerships, and recruitment opportunities.
